Terms & Conditions
General
- In the event of a forecast Fire Danger Rating (FDR) of Extreme or Catastrophic for the Northern Country Fire District of Victoria, the Dhanya Centre will be CLOSED, and NO activities will be undertaken. Full refunds will be offered. – This is inline with the requirements of Parks Vic.
- All prices are quoted in AUD and are inclusive of GST
- Payment of your booking is deemed to be an acceptance of our Terms and Conditions
- Full Payment is required at the time of the booking to secure the activity.
- Any Dhanya Centre based activity may be cancelled for cultural reasons, an update via our social media – and a direct message to people already booked will be made under these circumstances and full refunds will be offered.
- Your confirmation of your booking will be received via email/sms to your preferred/ selected contact.
- YYNAC reserves the right to change availability, prices and services without notice.
- All bookings are subject to availability and minimum booking numbers.
- Full refund will only be given with at least 48 hours’ notice of the cancellation before your activity, otherwise 100% of the booking will be charged, as a cancellation fee – Special circumstances may be considered. Please see the Cancellation details below
Cancellation Policy
- No Cancellation Fees will be charged for cancellations outside 48 hours
- A 50% cancellation fee will be charged inside 48 hours
- A 100% cancellation fee will be charged inside 24 hours
- As the Dhanya Centre, and all of the activities, are located within the Barmah National Park, pets are strictly prohibited, and pets cannot be brought to the Dhanya Centre.
- For information regarding Assistance Dogs in National Parks, please consult the Parks Victoria Website – parks.vic.gov.au
Guided Walks
- The Yamyabuc trail and the Lakes Loop Trail are rated Grade 1* (*Australian Walking Tracks Grading System) They are considered easy, with flat terrain and limited inclines.
- It is the sole responsibility of each guest to determine, prior to the commencement of a guided walk, if they are well enough and physically fit enough to complete the walk.
- All Guided Walks are subject to weather conditions – Unsafe Wind or Extreme Heat or Heavy Rain may see the cancellation of a Guided Walk – An update via our Social Media and a direct message to people already booked will be made under these circumstances and full refunds will be offered.

- While every precaution will be taken to prevent accidents, injury, or damage. YYNAC will not be responsible for any accident, injury or damage that may occur to any person, irrespective of the extent of the injury, damage or loss and this condition of contract.
- As our walks are conducted within the Barmah National Park, guests may encounter wildlife during the walk. Guest are required to NOT interfere with wildlife in any way. During the warmer months, snakes are prevalent within the Barmah National Park, please be aware that you may encounter a snake during a walk during the warmer months.
- As our walks are conducted within the Barmah National Park, guests are required to stay on the designated walking path at all times.
- Guided Walks will commence at the advertised time, late comers will have the option to catch up to join the walk.
What To Bring – Stay comfortable and make the most of your Guided Walk by dressing appropriately and bringing with you
- Insect Repellant
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Comfortable Walking Shoes – must be covered in (no thongs, sandals or the like footwear permitted)
- Umbrella/Poncho
- Camera/Phone Camera
- Water (can be purchased at the Dhanya Centre if you don’t already have some)
Guides will have a first aid certificate, carry a mobile phone, water and basic first aid kit.
Kingfisher Cruises
- Cruises are subject to weather and river conditions – unsafe river conditions, extreme wind, extreme heat or heavy rain may see the cancellation of the cruise, this decision is at the discretion of the Dharnya Centre Management and/or the Kingfisher Skipper, with customer safety at the forefront of any cancellation.
- Customers must take and comply with any safety directive from Kingfisher Skipper, pre, post or during the Cruise.
- While every precaution will be taken to prevent accident, injury or damage. YYNAC will not be responsible for any accident, injury or damage that may occur to any person, irrespective of the extent of the injury, damage or loss and this condition of contract
- The Kingfisher Skipper will have a first aid certificate, carry a mobile phone.
- Kingfisher Cruises will commence at the advertised time, late comers will miss out on their cruise and forfeit their booking
- Full refund will only be given with at least 48 hours notice of the cancellation before your cruise. Special circumstances may be considered.
Glamping
- All bookings require the guest’s first name, surname, a valid personal email address and contact phone number.
- All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking (this does not constitute payment)
- All bookings will be charged in full at the time of the booking, using the credit card details provided.
- Alternative payment arrangements can only be made by contacting the Dhanya Centre Glamping directly.
- Only persons over the age of 18 are able to make a glamping booking. Proof of age may be requested at the time of check in. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that all of their booking details are correct. To make any adjustments after a booking is made, please contact Dhanya Centre Glamping directly.
- All booking through third-party websites (booking.com, Expedia and the like) are subject to Dhanya Center Glamping’s Terms and Conditions
- Any cancellation must be received 14 days prior to your arrival date to avoid cancellation penalties.
- Fires may only be lit after direct permission from the Dhanya Centre Manager has been obtained
- Fires may only be lit in the designated fire pit/s
- During the fire restrictions period (November to April) fires are not permitted at any time (TBC)
Bird Watching
What To Bring – Stay comfortable and make the most of your Bird Watching by dressing appropriately and bringing with you

- Water (can be purchased at the Dhanya Centre if you don’t already have some)
Binoculars can be hired from the Dharnya Centre. The hire of Binoculars require
- Dharnya Centre Staff will record your name and contact number when hiring binoculars
- The Hire fee is set at $25.00 per set of Binoculars, for a maximum time of 4 hours
- A security deposit of $125.00 will be required when hiring Binoculars, with this deposit held via a credit or debit card
- If the Binoculars are Damaged, Lost or Stolen, the hirer will forfeit their security deposit and the $125.00 fee will be charged against that credit or debit card.
